Bio and Interests
"Surcie" is a Southern colloquialism and one of my favorite words. (I think you should use it, too.) Basically, it's a gift or treat just for the heck of it. You can receive a Surcie from someone or give one to yourself, which I highly recommend. In a way, this blog is my Surcie. Being the mother of a funny little boy and a "paysterz waf" (pastor's wife) provides for a lot of blog fodder. And then there's Southern culture, all manner of reality television, celebrity gossip, shopping, food, movies, travel, decorating, books, Starbucks, music (70's funk & soul; 80's alternative), and the fact that I'm a registered Independent; Favorite writers: Anne Lamott, Haven Kimmel, Celia Rivenbark, Barbara Kingsolver, Harper Lee, Anna Quindlen; Also enjoying: the comic stylings of Kathy Griffin, Kathleen Madigan, and sometimes even Ron White (but I probably shouldn't admit that).Contact:
